A temporary bus route will be launched for students of UzSWLU

In connection with the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, from September 7 a temporary bus service will be launched on the route “Mirzo Ulugbek” metro station — Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

📍 Key information about the route:

🗓 Service start: from September 7
⏰ Operating time: from 07:00 to 08:00 (during the morning peak hours)
🚌 Number of buses: 4 large-capacity buses

🎓 Destination: the buses will take students from the “Mirzo Ulugbek” metro station to both academic buildings of UzSWLU.

📍 Route:
— “Mirzo Ulugbek” metro station;
— Takhtagul;
— THAY;
— Lutfiy;
— Kukcha Darvoza;
— Zakovat streets;
— UzSWLU.

Why is the new route being organized?

Currently, a large part of UzSWLU students reach the “Chilanzar” metro station on their way to the university and then transfer to buses. As a result, during the morning peak hours the passenger flow on public transport on this route increases, leading to a higher load.

Through the new temporary route, students will be able to travel by bus directly from the “Mirzo Ulugbek” metro station to the university.

This will help students reach the university faster and more conveniently during the morning peak hours and, at the same time, reduce the load on the “Chilanzar” metro station and the public transport routes connected to it.

Note: These buses operate only during the morning peak hours — from 07:00 to 08:00.
