Meeting in the Format “Information, Reporting, Dialogue” Held Between Tashkent Mayor and Residents of Uchtepa District at Tashkent City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 3
The meeting discussed existing problems in the healthcare system, protection of motherhood and childhood, and the provision of medical institutions with modern equipment. It was noted that over the past five years, a number of problems in this area have significantly decreased. It was also reported that 81 units of modern equipment of 56 different types were purchased for medical institutions.
🧠 During the meeting, plans were presented for the construction of new-type polyclinics based on foreign experience, the renovation of the children’s tuberculosis hospital, and the reconstruction of certain medical institutions.
🧑💻 Additionally, a project to expand Sports School No. 1 in Uchtepa district was demonstrated. Once implemented, the number of sports disciplines will increase from 13 to 32, and the coverage of young people engaged in sports is expected to grow from 570 to 3,800 people. The construction of a separate area for cyber sports is also planned.
💬 During the event, residents’ appeals were heard, and wheelchairs were handed over to citizens in need. Furthermore, on the initiative of the President, in connection with Eid al-Adha, special vouchers were provided by the “Vaqf” charity public foundation to patients in need of surgery.
