Construction of the building began in the early 1970s as the Computing Center of the State Planning Committee of the Uzbek SSR, according to the project of the UzNIIP Urban Planning Institute (architect — Richard Bleze and others). For a long time, the building remained unfinished.
In 2010, on its
basis, the «Poytaxt» business center was opened.
The building
housed company offices, conferences were held on the sixth floor, and the two
upper floors were occupied by a hotel.
In 2022, the
property was purchased by a company from the UAE and reconstruction began.
Before the
reconstruction, the building corresponded to the «Karimov» style: white walls,
blue glass, and a granite plinth.
