🏛 The meeting discussed issues of combating corruption in the capital, preventing corrupt factors, and strengthening openness and accountability in the activities of state bodies and organizations.

At the beginning of the meeting, Acting Tashkent City Prosecutor Anvar Urmanov presented a report on the quality implementation of the “Roadmap for Implementing Urgent Measures to Combat Corruption and Prevent Corrupt Factors”, approved by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Prosecutor General, and the Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency.

📑 During the meeting, reports and information were heard from the heads of relevant organizations, including the Territorial Control Inspectorate in the Construction Sector, the Main Department of the Central Bank in Tashkent city, and the heads of commercial banks operating in the city. The reports covered work done to prevent corruption cases, eliminate their consequences, and remove the causes and conditions that enable corruption, as well as future measures.

✅ At the end of the meeting, tasks were assigned to the members of the territorial council to further improve the anti-corruption system in Tashkent city, strengthen cooperation between responsible agencies, and ensure open and regular informing of the public about the work being carried out in this area.
